Attack On Titan (2013 -) – Anime Review

The Review –

We love really good anime, and Attack on Titan is certainly within our top 5 favorite animes made. We’ve watching them all over and over and am now watching them over again as an English dub on Funimation and VRV.

To point out the most interesting items in the show that holds our attention, it would have to be the character creations and voice actors/actresses. The artwork for Attack on Titan is beautifully done and the voice overs for original and English dub are perfect to the character. The story well we love it as well, it reminds us of the world today and how we’re all brought up from kids to adults though not as graphic lol.

We love Attack on Titan (the show) so much that we collect a lot of the action figures, cards, and other memorabilia/collectibles. This is certainly a show I hope that continues for a very long time from now, and we’re looking forward to watching the movie too since we have also watched and enjoyed Attack on Titan: Junior High.

If you’re an anime fan this is one you may want to check out if you hadn’t already, Mikasa Ackerman is probably my second favorite female anime hero character.

Our Rating based on 1-5 stars: 5 Stars

IMDB Info –

After his hometown is destroyed and his mother is killed, young Eren Jaegar vows to cleanse the earth of the giant humanoid Titans that have brought humanity to the brink of extinction.

Plot or Story Line –

2000 years from now, humans are nearly exterminated by titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of titans. Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a titan in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a colossal titan that appears out of thin air. As the smaller titans flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single titan and take revenge for all of mankind.
