The three parts to the original movie “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) which is often confused with the American ripoff copy of this movie. Why do we feel that the American release of this movie is a ripoff? To answer this in all honesty can start with every good film in the American media was taken from somewhere else or someone else story and made their own. The second reason is simple to say, the American version or English version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo released in 2011 is a mere piece of this movies story. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’s original story is based upon 3.5 books which should be 4 books but the fourth book of this was not ever released. The films consist of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (part one and book was released 2005), The Girl Who Played with Fire (part 2, Book released 2006), The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest (part 3 and the book was released 2007). Each of these movies in Stieg Larsson’s Millennium Trilogy Series run-time is approximately 3 hours in length, so considering this… In the English or American release of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo where is the other 7.5 hours of the film?
