Knight of Cups (2015) – Movie Review
Movie Review –
Knight of Cups (2015) featuring Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman; is actually a great artistically based film though honestly hard to watch if you’re tired. I did like the styling of this film and the acting for the most part was good, and of course in some of it the acting good of been done a bit better; but for what the film was it is quite enjoyable.
I ended up watching this film three times to make sure how I felt about it, the first time I was very tired and it was extremely hard to keep my eyes open as the movie goes very slow. The second time I sat to watch the film I was fully awake and took in how the director was aiming it; which sort of has that Vanilla Sky feeling to it. The third time was a charm, wide awake and still filled with what I saw in the first two attempts; this film is very artistic and dark. We highly recommend giving this film a chance, and really watch it for the story hidden within. I believe for the most part that they done a great job, I just had hoped for a bit more.
