Man Up (2015) – Movie Review

Man Up (2015)

Movie Review –

Yet another BBC film featuring Simon Pegg, one of my favorite male actors for comedy. Man Up (2015) is a nice little comedy/romantic based film, great ideas in the movie, the typical relationship comedy; with a nice story line. Now I certainly like the darker based films better than most but I do find myself enjoying “Man Up. The cast for what the movie is about fit quite nicely, and the actors done a great job on their parts. The cinematic were great and for the most part the film turned out to be a really nice laid back film. I have to absolutely say that throughout the film the comedy was hysterical, and most of all I appreciated seeing a very well made story and film. If you’re up for a fairly good comedy with a nice romantic twist check this one out.

Plot or Story Line –

A 34 year old single woman, Nancy, hung-over again, exhausted by the endless fruitless set ups by her friends, traveling across London to toast another 10 years of her parent’s successful happy magical marriage runs in with a 40 year old divorcee, Jack, who mistakes her for his 24 year old blind date. Nancy, deciding to go with it, happens to hop on the most chaotic yet hilarious journey of her life which neither of them will ever forget. There is drinking, truths, an old stalker class mate with long a standing crush, lost divorce papers, lost hopes, competitive indoor sports and yeah Jack finding out the truth that Nancy isn’t his blind date. ‘Man Up’ a romantic comedy about taking chances, finding about being yourself, making decisions and rolling with the consequences.
