Star Trek Beyond (2016) – Movie Review

Movie Review –

Before I get started I should point out that I’m not a Star Trek super fan. I have nothing against it, it just one of those shows/films that didn’t hold my attention; maybe it’s because it was on the TV so much when I was younger that it became so dulling after time but to the the review.

I set out to watch Star Trek Beyond (2016) only because I’m a fan of Simon Pegg and enjoy his style of acting in the majority of films he is in or has something to do with, so this is what sold me to at least watch it. Now, for the most part the film was pretty good. The acting was what anyone would expect, the graphics were great; though the story like always just didn’t hold my attention.

So many things in the film (at least to me) just didn’t add up, but I kept watching. I’m certain the Star Trek fans will enjoy this film, I think for the largest part they done pretty fair with it; it is just merely not my cup of tea.
