Suicide Squad (2016) – Movie Review

Movie Review –

To start out with I wanted to point out all of the negative reviews by “paid critics” to lean one way or the next based on pay, people have got to stop listening to those bullshitters. Those people make a living to say something is good or not, they’re not saying it is good or bad based on if it is or not.

Is the Suicide Squad a perfect movie? Absolutely not, this film has flaws like all movies, but not as many flaws as in the every over marketed top end film that has popped out in the last year; examples: Batman vs Superman (complete crap), Star Wars (epic failure); the lists go on. Oddly enough each of the films that failed their fans these paid critics were there to rope you into believing it’s great until you saw it yourself.

Suicide Squad was everything it said it would be, all of what you saw in the trailer that made you want to see it are in the film unlike most trailers that the good spot isnt even in the movie when you see it (reference The Hangover). This film has an excellent cast, the graphics were better than most of the latest films; finally a film that lived up to what it said.

It has saddened me to see that all of the negative reviews on Suicide Squad have nothing to do with this movie. The 3 reasons everyone has been hating on Suicide Squad as mentioned in their reviews are:

  • Jared Leto didn’t get more than 10 minutes of his 30 minutes screen time, though in all honesty The Joker didn’t need anymore time in this movie as it wasn’t about him. Any more in the film and it would’ve thrown off the film.
  • The second reason was that Batman Vs Superman sucked, well for the morons that didn’t know it sucked…. Yes Batman vs Superman sucked, but what does that have to do with Suicide Squad.
  • The 3rd reason was that movies like this don’t follow the actual story…. Well I’ve not saw a movie at all that followed the original story since I was born. Example “The People vs Larry Flint” was a nice film which portrayed Larry as a loving husband, though it left out how often he beat his wife. Every movie is a film based on a story, it’s not the exact story or it wouldn’t have such a dramatic affect.

Suicide Squad is a great ENTERTAINING Film! It’s exactly what it shows in the trailer, if you’re expecting it or any film to be the story from it’s origin then stop watching movies so you don’t cry every time you watch one.

Our Rating based on 1-5 stars: 5 Stars

It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
