The Walking Dead (2010– ) – TV Series Review

The Walking Dead (2010– 2015 and going)

Our Comments –

The Walking Dead is one of my favorite shows! Recently I had been going through a health issue which slowed me down from using my hands and arms, during this time I decided to sit back in between what work I could do and watch all of “The Walking Dead” series from season 1 to season 5 back to back with no commercials thanks to NetFlix and Amazon on Demand.

The one thing I truly like about “The Walking Dead” is the many personalities between characters, the actors and actresses fully pulled off their roles. It showed a nice contrast of all types of people in the world from the ones who had the balls to stand up for what was right to the ones who thought nothing but of themselves, sounds like the real world huh. The story lines from start to finish kept everything packages right up and stayed on point which is typically something that gets lost in sequels of any kind. Another thing is unlike most tv shows they didnt change out the main acting roles to different actors or actresses, ya gotta hate when they do something like this. A fine example of this is in the TV series House, they changed the actress that played the role of Dr. House’s mother, huge fail on that part.

The Walking Dead is fully enjoyable, dark, thrilling, and without advertisements it is just awesome to watch. The graphics are to perfection, the makeup artistry is better than in most highly funded films, and the green screen work is better than most high-end movies like Transformers. The Walking Dead is 3rd in my top ten all time TV Shows of all times, love it and cannot wait to see more. Lately I have come to find that a lot of people that I personally know still to date hadn’t saw this show, wow they dont know what they’re missing.

So far the first 4 seasons has earned 5 stars with us at WoodBangers and Season 5, so far I have to give it 4.5 Stars. During Season 4 they brought out a lot of people within the show which I see as a bad move. Some of the actors newly added are over actors, and one actress in particular which came into Season 4 totally stuck out like a sore thumb. Christian Serratos in her first appearance in the show she looked like she had just left a modeling convention. Being that the epidemic with the undead had been going on for over a year within the show, I was quite shocked to see Christian Serratos wearing her military daisy duke shorts, $500.00 make-up, and looked as she had just walked out of a salon and spa; this totally through the vibe of the show off. Other than Christian Serratos and Michael Cudlitz (over actor), the 4th Season ended well.

If you hadn’t watched “The Walking Dead” do so it is awesome! If you have any comments leave them below and thanks for reading.
