Watching tons of Anime

Attack on Titan

A love for Anime

Over the last 8-10 months, we’ve gone further and further in depth into the anime and manga scene as we’ve found more and more to enjoy. I’ve always liked an anime here and there, I wasn’t a real die hard fan until one show totally caught my eye; this show was Kill la Kill. Upon watching Kill la Kill we started looking into its history, what the shows meaning was and so on. After tons of research and of course many times watching repeatedly, we set out to find more shows we’d enjoy.

During our search to find more anime that were of similar style or type we started buying up action figures and collectibles, everything Kill la Kill was high on our list to have on our shelves; today we have almost every item sold minus a couple figures. Some of The WoodShed members started telling us their favorite shows and giving us tips on some to check out, after searching out the show they’d mentioned before we knew it; we had an account on almost every anime/manga site for watching shows. Yes we’re very active and supporting to the things we enjoy as everyone should already know by now, we’re pro members on the following:

  • Crunchyroll
  • Funimation
  • MyAnimeList
  • RoosterTeeth
  • VRV

… And we’re also Anime Strike subscribers on Amazon; the above are just a couple of the places we watch our anime and read digital mangas.

As time has passed our collection of anime based collectibles has grown quite a lot, and since the start of our Kill la Kill interest, we’ve watched a lot more shows. We started out by getting into Akame ga Kill, Soul Eater, Rosario Vampire and then, of course, were watching all of Rooster Teeth’s “RWBY”.

All of those animes have some of the most lovable characters and the stories are just so awesome, especially RWBY. When we got into RWBY well it all started again, we have bought almost every piece of merchandise that Rooster Teeth has put out for this show; we also play RWBY: Grimm Eclipse. Things just sort of have kept going from there, we now have an anime based Group in The WoodShed as well as on FB. Many anime and manga later we then started watching “No Game No Life” which is another awesome anime which will be releasing their movie this year in the summer. Now we’re vegging out watching Attack on Titan, this show is off the chain; we love it.

So that’s sort of the gist of the various anime we’ve been checking out and the toy additions we’ve been adding to our collections. Soon we will start sharing our feedback on the anime and mangas but right now anime has become our enjoyment time and we don’t want it to be work.

If you have any suggestions for us to check out, we’d really love to hear them so drop a comment below or just come join The WoodShed or feel free to Like us on Facebook and join The Wood Chipper. Time to watch some anime while I get today’s workload started.
